This month's full moon is called the Full Sturgeon Moon (named after the fish), due to fact that sturgeon were readily caught in the Great Lakes areas during this month. It is also known as the Full Red Moon (because the moon appears reddish in color through the haze), the Green Corn Moon or the Grain Moon.

If you are new to the site, we wanted to let you know that this site is only open during a full moon phase (but the forums here are open everyday).

  • Ronda Thompson's book titled "The Dark One" (the first novel in her new werewolf series) will be released in November, 2005! Ronda has a website at www.rondathompson.com.

We wanted to let you know that the forums on this site are interesting in the fact that there are forum members here who are artists, writers, authors, musicians, people who are working on werewolf comics, people who are working on werewolf movies, etc. Many forum members here post about the progress of their projects and will answer questions about their projects too.
