Here is a new computer paint program illustration based on my old "Van Helsing and Gevaudan" comic. As I've explained in the past, they are a vampire hunting duo that travels the world in search of the undead. Devon Gevaudan is the werewolf, and Christina Van Helsing is the descendant of Abraham Van Helsing, who killed(?) the great Count Dracula. She bares a slight resemblance to Christina Ricci, whom I was very into at the time that I created the comic.

Here's another day in the life of America's unluckiest and most clueless werewolf. I'm rather enjoying bringing Wagner back, I hope you folks are liking him. Please, feel free to e-mail me with any comments at slave2moonlight@yahoo.com.

Here's one I did yesterday morning and was fairly happy with. It could easily be considered an illustration from my old "Van Helsing and Gevaudan" comic strip, or it could just be any other werewolf vampire hunter. This may give you a clue to one of the reasons I really liked the film "Van Helsing," despite how many other folks felt about it. The ending was like something right out of my old "Van Helsing and Gevaudan" comic. In my storyline, a young, male werewolf named Devon Gevaudon teams up with Christina Van Helsing, an orphaned direct descendant of Prof. Abraham Van Helsing. The pair travel the world on a quest to destroy vampires (the natural instict of all werewolves: creatures originally created by divine intervention for that very purpose). To guide them, they have bundles of letters sent to Christina's family over the years, all asking desperately for help with vampire attacks. Fun Fact: I named Christina Van Helsing after Christina Ricci, whom I was crushing on major at the time I was doing the strip.

Some folks have requested I revive my old "Wagner Werewolf" strip from my school days for posting at the Werewolf Cafe, and I've been reluctant since I have no scanner access right now. But, since it is such a fitting strip for this site, I decided to take a shot at bringing Wagner back via my cheezy computer art program. Here's the first new Wagner strip in 10 years!

Since I do not currently have access to a scanner, all my past art contributions to "The Werewolf Cafe" have been pieces done during my early years in college. While I much prefer to work with pencils, ink, and watercolor, I decided to try my hand with a simple computer art program so I could submit at least one more piece for now. This is the result. I like it, but it looked better before it was changed to JPEG format. If anyone needs an artist or writer, I'm looking for work! Ha!

This oil painting depicts 2 dolls representing the classic characters of Red Riding Hood and the Wolf. The plush wolf shown here was one of my childhood playmates that I still have today. The Red Riding Hood was one of my sister's old dolls that I redressed with red material.

This mixed media piece is part of my incomplete "Wolf and Fairy" series, which depicts moments in the lives of a young werewolf and a young pixie fairy who have fallen in love. The werewolf has chosen to remain a wolf for a season in order to spend time with his true love. She believes him to be an ordinary wolf. She does not know he will become a human when the seasons change.
