slave2moonlight

Hi, I'm slave2moonlight. I'm a single, straight, Christian, 20-something male from the southernmost tip of Texas. I've got a BFA in 2D Studio Art, and am currently working on getting my own comic strip off the ground (and trying to land a decent paying job in the meantime, anyone need a writer/artist?). I dabble in screenwriting and movie reviewing, and spend a lot of my spare time writing lists and reviews at Amazon.com, but from now on I’ll also be contributing occasional werewolf movie reviews and other fun bits and pieces here at The Werewolf Café. I'm an absolute movie fanatic, though I’m definitely a “people’s movie reviewer.” I enjoy movies with big budgets, gorgeous women, and special effects! But I also can appreciate low budget independent stuff and foreign films, if they’re good. I’m pretty open-minded with movies. I love animation, comedy, horror, musical, fantasy, adventure, and anything else. The ones I tend to be wary about are dramas, chick flicks, sci-fi, and pure action, though I have favorite films in all those categories too. In fact, my favorite films of all time, or some of them anyway, are the Star Wars Saga, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, the Indiana Jones Trilogy, several Disney animated and live-action films, An American Werewolf In London, A Christmas Story, Dumb and Dumber, The Wizard of Oz, the Harry Potter films, Pirates of the Caribbean, Sleepy Hollow, Hocus Pocus, It’s A Wonderful Life, the recent version of Peter Pan, and far too many more to list here without losing your attention. But enough about all that. I also am an animal lover. I happen to be a dog man, but I love cats too. Of course, my fave animal is the wolf. I’ve always had a strong lycanthrope gene, going back as far as my kindergarten days at least, when I used to run around howling with a strip of faux fur attached to the back of my pants for a tail. I’m a big fan of traveling, especially taking roadtrips to touristy places like Disney World (I am a Disney fanatic). I recently went to London with my little sister, and I do miss it. It was a bit of a pilgrimage for me, being such an “American Werewolf” fan. The only trouble with traveling is that I’m also a romantic. Being single stinks, and I’ve always imagined how much better vacations and holidays would be if I had someone to snuggle with. I’m a freak for cuddling. Love it. But alas, no matter, I'm head over heels in love with Hilary Duff anyway, and saving my snuggling for her. After a couple of celebrity marriages, she’ll come around. I listen to all types of music, from really old blues and swing, to recent jazz, rock, pop, and other stuff. I’m even a big “Weird Al” Yankovic fan. but my fave band is the Eagles, and fave solo artist (besides Hilary) is Harry Connick, Jr.. I collect toys and memorabilia like a madman, usually representations of my many film and TV obsessions: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, the Muppets, Disney (especially Tinkerbell, I really love short blondes, and Ariel the little mermaid, my first true love), Sailor Moon (another of my top dreamgirls), Dark Shadows, Lola Bunny, superheroes, werewolves (of course), misc. cartoons, and lots more. I get pretty obsessive about Holidays too. I try to always dress up on Halloween, and have a long list of movies to watch and goodies to bake before October 31st and December 25th. Like to make a semi big deal out of the other holidays too. Lastly, I love reading and watching documentaries on ghosts, monsters, cryptozoology, Urban Legends, and other strange things (which would also be particularly enjoyable and easier to get through if I had someone to snuggle with). I could probably go on and on with details, but for the most part that’s all there is to know about me. Anyone who wants to know more, or has any friendly comments, can feel free to e-mail me anytime. slave2moonlight@yahoo.com
